Product Description
Our EGR & EGR cooler plate kits are laser cut from 304 stainless steel, suitable for the 2.4 TDCI Defender. They fit in-between the EGR and cooler which runs around the back of the engine, retaining that factory look (MOT Friendly). The 2.4 TDCI has a 2 bolt round fitting for the EGR cooler to the manifold. The later 2.2 TDCI has a 3 bolt square face. We do offer both kits to make sure you've the correct one. These have slotted holes, allowing you to loosen the bolts and simply slide the plate into place and retighten the fixings.
All vehicles from 2007 onwards will require the ECU software editing as well which we can also do (PLEASE CONTACT US), especially if you already have the engine management light on.
Also please do not drill holes in these blanks they are designed to be installed as is, stopping the entire flow of exhaust gas.
